Pilot study of Airport Living Lab @ Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, Sweden

If you were one of the lucky ones that were at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport during November 2008, you could try the all new Airport Living Lab.

Here passengers and staff could drop off ideas on improvement and also interact with each other on a dedicated web site. Through the use of Open Innovation the airport hopes to find entirely new solutions that in the end increase both the airport experience and profitability.

A Living Lab is an innovation environment that in a good way takes care of customers’ innovation power. It is important to know that the Airport Living Lab is still in a research phase. If the project ends with positive results, Arlanda will fully establish the lab to continue to engage in user-centered business development.
